Like Mother Like Daughter

Many of you have not heard my tramatic story about Chocolate Covered Raisins. This is a story that my family will tell anyone and everyone that will listen. It is very embarrassing. But in my defense I was only about 3-4 years old.
One year we went camping with my mom's side of the family. I don't remember if we were up at the family cabin or not but suffice it to say we were in the woods. I was walking with my Uncle which will not be named and he was eating some raisinettes. I asked him what he was eating and he told me it was deer poop. I really wanted to eat what he was eating and I found something on the ground that looked a lot like "raisinettes" but it turned out the really be deer poop so I ate some. I went crying to my mom and my Uncle explained what happened.. So there you have it the totally sick embarrassing story. Now the reason I bring this up is Daphnee had a similar story. Russ decided to take the girls to the park. We have gone many times, but this was the first time that McKaylee was interested in the pine cones. She started to gather them up like an easter egg hunt and stack then by Russ. Daphnee does what McKaylee does so she was picking up the pine cones and setting them by Russ. This goes on for a little bit until Russ notices that Daphnee is carrying something other than pinecones. He thought " Oh crap" literally. He ran to her and her hands were covered in dark brown crap, upon further inspection he found it to be melted chocolate. What she was holding in her hands was melted girl scout cookies that someone had dumped on the ground. Luckily this experience will not haunt her the way that mine did. I still to this day will not eat a raisin or touch any chocolate covered raisins. I am wounded for life!

I bet she would have loved to lick her hands!!! And for the record, I bet you would eat that poop again if it was just plain chocolate:)

MMMMM, deer Poop :) I love your funny stories! This is a great one! We are definitely a CHOCOLATE family. If ever we see something BROWN in a random place in our house... we need not worry... it is most ALWAYS just a litle bit of chocolate! I am glad that this was the case for MaKaylee!
