Ashlee is 25!

So today is my birthday! It seems so funny to think that I am 25 years old. I remember being little riding on the big wheel with Stephanie and then eating "Hot dogs" from the tree in our front yard. I remember moving into the house that my parents are still living in today. I remember when I was supposed to be watching my sister Brooke but instead I got hooked on a show on T.V. and she stripped down to her diaper and was dancing on the vanity. I remember putting Danielle in pajamas that were too small for her and laughing because she would stretch tall while grunting! I remember playing truth or dare and sneaking down stairs and ringing the door bell. There are so many memories that I have growing up! I have accomplished a lot also. I graduated from high school, moved out on my own. Went to college for a year. Married a wonderful man. Had 2 beautiful daughters! I think being a mom and a wife are the most rewarding things that I have done in my life! I am so grateful for all the memories that I have. I love that I can look back at my life and laugh! I am so grateful for my parents for raising me the right way! They are wonderful examples and I love them so much! I have 25 years of memories and I can't wait for 25 more!

What about defending your BIG sister from the bad man on Halloween night?! I can't stand that your face is skinnier than mine after just a month of no pregnancy. You lucky dog. So, is that the "before" picture? Will we be seeing shorter hair? Love you birthday girl. I'll call you later too. I always do!

Oh, and you forgot to mention that you were born after your favorite sister who shared those "hot dogs" with you and pushed you on the big wheel and ALWAYS tickled your back. O.k.- not always, but a lot. Oh, and ate all of your mambas so you wouldn't get fat. That's the way I look at it now. I was so sacrificing!

Hope it was a super birthday filled with fun from your two favorite girls! I loved being older than 25, for some reason it seemed to give me validity as an adult! Maybe people assume you have hit the age of maturity..who knows, I am 32 and still wonder if I have matured enough yet:) Have a wonderful year, and yes..I too wonder if we are going to be seeing a short hair cut in your future......????

Hey Ashlee,
Happy Birthday! You're right that motherhood is the most rewarding thing. I love it, too! I sent Russ an invite to our blog, but I haven't heard anything from you yet. Have you been able to see our blog? Can you give me your email? Thanks! catherine.reed.4@gmail.com

Hey you! Happy birthday...a day late! We are getting old Ashlee. Remember in the 10th ward...being in different grades and sunday school classes made SUCH a difference? I always saw you guys as so much younger than me...when in reality you are only a few months behind me!! I just can't believe so many of us are married and have kids! Reading your "memories" blog made me remember all the fun stuff from the good ol' tenth ward. There are parts I miss...but man you couldn't pay me enough to go back to being a teenager. :)

I'm so glad we got back in touch after all these years. Your girls are precious and you sure look like you have your hands full. Maybe even more than me and I just had my third little girl! Yours are so close in age, but I bet you're just in heaven with them :)
