Aramis the defender.

Aramis. Shepher Mix. 6 month old. 34 pounds! Expected to get bigger.

He loves to cuddle. He rubs his head into you until you pet him! He is such a sweetie!

Russ and I went to the Flower Mound Pet Adoption Center. I saw Aramis and knew that I wanted to see how he was with McKaylee and Daphnee. He was such a good dog. He didn't jump on them or try and lick their faces. We left the Center with me in tears. I wanted to get him so bad. Russ and I talked about getting him. I just had this feeling that he needed to be part of our family! We brought him home on the 9th. He checked out the house and then went and layed down by the couch. Of course the girls were scared of him. I have never seen Daphnee crawl so fast. They have since warmed up to him. He seems to feel a little bit more at ease here! Welcome Aramis to the Wilsterman Clan!

What a month!

This past month has been eventful. Not only have we had an injury, we have had sickness and a few milestones as well!

Daphnee is almost walking now!!!! ( applause appreciated!) So as you can see she is getting into anything and everything her grubby little hands can reach. If we leave the room for just a second you never know what you are going to come back and find. This mess isn't so bad, but we have recently had to buy more wipes than usual.

Daphnee loves to mimick all the things that McKaylee does! Can you guess what she copied this time? No clue huh? Just check out those faces!

I didn't have my camera handy and now that I think about it I wish that I did. One afternoon I fed the girls chicken nuggets with fries. I gave them each a side of ketchup! Big mistake. I left the kitchen for about 15 seconds, literally, and came back to a HUGE mess! Not only was there food on the floor there was ketchup ALL over the walls, door, chairs, table, and McKaylee! I guess that she thought it would have been fun to see what happens when you squash the ketchup with your cup. It was one of those times that you just want to cry so you don't think about grabbing the camera to take pictures. Now I really wish that I did.

McKaylee loves nursery. She loves to play with the toys and hang out with her friends. She also loves to try and figure out how things work. I guess that she was fascinated with the cupboard door and the hinge. McKaylee stuck her finger in a part of the hinge while someone was trying to close the cupboard door. She got it cut pretty good. The top of her nail, by the cuticle was cut so deep that the nail fell off. I never want to go though anything like that again. Just thinking about it almost brings me to tears. She cut her middle finger so the only funny thing about the situation is you get to see the bird when McKaylee shows you her owwie!

This past week has also been kind of a nightmare! The girls have been sick. We have had it all, The Runs, Coughing, Runny Noses, Fevers of 103.6, and just feeling blah. We are all on the up and up! Thanks for all of your prayers!
