I am in LOVE!

I have to say that I love this picture. When I look at my girls when they are being so cute with each other it makes me think of growing up with all sisters. I have so many fun memories of each of my sisters. I love to think back and laugh at all the stupid things we did. I just want my sisters to know how much I love them and that they mean the world to me. I love my little girlies so much. They make me laugh daily! I can't wait to watch them grow up and be best friends!

Surprise!

I found out about a week ago that I was expecting our 3rd baby! I had no idea I was pregnant I just wanted to take the test to prove that I wasn't so that I could just get ready for the dreaded. Well I took the test and about fell off the toilet. I wanted to tell Russ right then but I had to contain myself. I wanted to surprise him. My first idea was to get some M&M's that said " I'm Pregnant and the month that I am due. But in the end it would have costed too much money and it would have taken about 2 weeks for them to ship! I couldn't wait that long. Then my next thought was to go to our favorite improv place and ask them in advance to spotlight me and when they asked questions about me I could surprise Russ then and tell him that I was pregnant. But again I couldn't wait that long. So then I decided to make a video of the girls telling Russ the good news. It took about 6 times to get it right. I had Russ come home for lunch. I told him that the girls did something so cute and I got it on video. He stared intently at the screen and then when he heard what the girls said His "Face" said it all! I wish that I could have captured that moment but I didn't want to be too obvious. So that is the story. I am thinking that I am due towards the end of January! Yea for 2011~

I know, I know everyone is so jealous of my picture taking skills, all I can say is that it is a gift! Just kidding! I wanted to try something a little different. I am still getting used to the cut. Luckily Russ likes it a lot!

Like Mother Like Daughter

Many of you have not heard my tramatic story about Chocolate Covered Raisins. This is a story that my family will tell anyone and everyone that will listen. It is very embarrassing. But in my defense I was only about 3-4 years old.
One year we went camping with my mom's side of the family. I don't remember if we were up at the family cabin or not but suffice it to say we were in the woods. I was walking with my Uncle which will not be named and he was eating some raisinettes. I asked him what he was eating and he told me it was deer poop. I really wanted to eat what he was eating and I found something on the ground that looked a lot like "raisinettes" but it turned out the really be deer poop so I ate some. I went crying to my mom and my Uncle explained what happened.. So there you have it the totally sick embarrassing story. Now the reason I bring this up is Daphnee had a similar story. Russ decided to take the girls to the park. We have gone many times, but this was the first time that McKaylee was interested in the pine cones. She started to gather them up like an easter egg hunt and stack then by Russ. Daphnee does what McKaylee does so she was picking up the pine cones and setting them by Russ. This goes on for a little bit until Russ notices that Daphnee is carrying something other than pinecones. He thought " Oh crap" literally. He ran to her and her hands were covered in dark brown crap, upon further inspection he found it to be melted chocolate. What she was holding in her hands was melted girl scout cookies that someone had dumped on the ground. Luckily this experience will not haunt her the way that mine did. I still to this day will not eat a raisin or touch any chocolate covered raisins. I am wounded for life!

Love Bite

I gave Russ a little "Love Bite." as a joke because I have had few that I was a little embarrassed about, and so I had to give him a taste of his own medicine. On Satuday morning when Russ was feeding McKaylee breakfast, and she was staring intently at his neck and said " Daddy you have jelly on your neck" he tried to dissuade her otherwise but she wouldn't hear of it. Later that day Russ was telling me about the breakfast incident and I told McKaylee, " Mommy bit daddy" She gasped a little bit and then I said, " no I'm just kidding it's just a bruise" she then looked at me and said, " It's not a bruise either it's jelly" I guess we came up with another name for Hickey!
