7 weeks and counting.....

We are counting down the days until Daphnee Reese is here. McKaylee seems to be pretty happy to have someone to play with!

Mmmm I love Cake!

McKaylee's adpoted Uncle John and Aunt Emily made her birthday cake. She has a grand time eating as much cake as she could get her hands on. It was so much fun to just let her dig in. She got tired of using her hands so she just dove right in! What a mess!

McKaylee is 1!

Today is McKaylee's 1st birthday! She had a blast ripping the paper off of her birthday gift! It looks like she was happy with what she got! She knew just what to do. She stood right up and started walking with her new walker!

Happy Anniversary!

This past Friday June 13th, Russ and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! I can't believe how fast time flies. During those years we have had our good and bad times. We moved 4 times, and each time our apartments got smaller and smaller. Russ finished his Associates degree and his Bachelors degree. I worked Full time as a New Accounts Personal Banker. He finished at Weber State in 2006. We moved to Texas so that Russ could start his career as "The Word's Best Spanish Teacher!" We bought our first house and a few months later we found out that we were going to have a baby! McKaylee Ann came 9 months later, and she has been a joy to have in our lives. She will be a year old in 2 weeks. We are expecting our 2nd daughter, Daphnee Reese! She should be coming around August 18th! We have been so blessed during the last 5 years! Families are Forever!

We just wanted to thank all of our friends and family for all the prayers they have made for us in the past year! Russ is officially the Newest Employee in the Denton School District! He is going to be teaching Spanish at a brand new Middle School! We are so excited we can barely stand it! Thanks again for all the prayers! We are so blessed!

A True Texan!

Russ and I were sitting down for dinner and McKaylee was being so cute! We had to grab the camera a get a few pictures! McKaylee will be 1 in about 3 weeks! I can't believe how fast time flies. She is such a fun baby. She is also a talker. I know she can only say the usual baby words but it is fun to just hear her cute voice! We love our little girl!

And the green grass grows!

Last weekend Russ spent most of the day ripping out bushes and weeds! He is so proud of all the work that he is done! Our yard looks so much better! And look at how green the grass is!
