8 Years and Counting.......

Many of you don't know the story of how Russ and I met..... We were both going to Utah State in Logan Utah. There is no way that we would have met on campus because our classes were totally different. One night while I was working at Lee's Grocery store a handsome man ( that would be Russ) came in to pick up a treat for a movie. When he came to my line we struck up a conversation. He told me my name was pretty and I told him that he was HOT! Just kidding it didn't happen like that. He did say that he liked my name and we talked about his niece that had the same name. When he left, and these are his words not mine... he says that he knew that we were going to get married. He came into the grocery store a few more times and we would say hello in passing. A little while later we had one of those chick flick moments. I was coming down one aisle and he was coming down another aisle and we almost ran into each other. Isn't that so romantical! I know they should make a movie about us.... anyhow, I told him to come to my register when he was done shopping. I knew that he was going to ask for my number so I had it ready for him. When he came through we talked some more and I could tell that he was nervous. We said goodbye and he started to walk away. I was a little disappointed, but then he turned around and asked if he could call me sometime. I gave him my number and the rest is history.

We got married Friday June 13, 2003!

Now 8 years later this a small taste of what has happened since we first said Hi.......

3 trips to the ER( 2 thanks to Rusty)

Now to end this post I would like to dedicate it to my sexy, funny, supportive, loving husband. I feel so blessed to have you in my life. You are a wonderful father and a wonderful husband. You make me so happy. There have been so many times in this marriage that I have been so proud of you. You have accomplished so much. You are so amazing. In the words of our song
